New Rustic Soap Bars
Hey y’all,
It’s finally cooling off a little here in Oklahoma. Beginning to feel like fall is on its way.

I have several craft shows coming up and my weekly farmers market has reduced my soap inventory. That’s a good thing. So it’s time to get soaping!!

Here’s a few pictures of the process.

The thin pudding stage.

Thick pudding stage, see how it holds its shape and peaks.
This is the lumpy mashed potato phase. Here is where you really get busy stirring!
For my Rustic Bars, I sometimes add dried flower petals to the top of the loaves of soap. I hand cut every bar and honestly I'm not very good at it lol. I have a hard time keeping a uniform thickness. That's why they are named Rustic Bars.

These are (from left to right) Chocolate Wine & Roses, Lavender Dreams, Sexy Wild Man & Stress Away. I love them.

Hope you enjoyed this peek into my day,
Deb
